Recently purchased this after a few days of research . Although being a recent novice oud player , I have been playing guitar for 15 plus years so I have extensive experience with plectrums . The plastic plectrums that came with my oud produced a very audible slap , attack found these a bit more difficult to control . However when I used the cow horn risha I found that the slapping attack to be greatly reduced as well as a significant increase in tonal clarity . Would highly recommend the horn risha over the plastic variant .
Seriously amazing and top quality ivory
These are quality reeshes. They work well, not too flexible, and sand smoothly so they last a long time. A much better alternative to using plastic.
