Part of our Professional Series, this riq combines adjustable internal tuning, a three-layer walnut frame, and a design with a story behind every curve.
The Story Behind Alhambra
Named after the magnificent Alhambra palace in Spain, this riq celebrates a place where geometry, poetry, architecture, and art come together. It belongs to a collection honoring the artistic legacy of Al-Andalus, where beauty was expressed through patterns and carefully considered details.
A symmetrical, flower-like motif spreads across the cream-colored head, with curling gold lines, dark accents, and small floral details. An intricate circular border surrounds the design, while the gold-colored rim and white frame give each element room to stand out. The hammered surfaces of the gold-plated brass jingles carry that attention to texture beyond the drumhead.
Sharp Drum Sound, Bright Brass Jingles
Alhambra combines a sharp drum sound with the rich, bright, and powerful voice of hand-hammered gold-plated brass jingles. The premium-grade polyester fiberglass drumhead provides sound clarity, durability, and consistent performance.
Suitable for beginners through to professional players, it offers a clear drum response alongside the expressive sound of its brass jingles.
Five Internal Tuning Pegs
The adjustable internal tuning mechanism uses five tuning pegs to control drumhead tension. Fine-tune the head to suit your playing preferences using the included tuning key.
Three-Layer Walnut Frame
A three-layer walnut wood frame provides a strong, durable foundation. Its white exterior contrasts with the gold-colored rim and hammered jingles, bringing the instrumentβs decorative details together.
