Good delivery service
I have just received my first Ney - it looks like it is well made and I am excited to start learning to play it.
Thank you Arab Instruments!
Having played only a bit of western style flute in the past I never built up an appropriate embouchure for producing sound, so in saying this the hardest challenge so far with this Ney is producing a consistently good sound. As stated in the video for this Ney, the most difficult aspect would be to produce a good sound. However, when I'm able to "get it right" with the embouchure this Ney sounds really nice. I'll hang in there and continue to work at making good sounds and with the help of the instructional videos (which are very helpful) I should be able to learn to play the Ney as well as I would like to.
