Just got my very first darbuka and couldn't be more pleased ! Of course I cannot really compare the sound quality due to my lack of experience, but I trust the reputation of this shop for selling good stuff, even for entry level instruments. And I have to admit that I'm positively impressed by the "presence" of this darbuka : I love the demure beauty of the copper and the flawless finitions. A bit expensive compared to same models sold on other websites, though, but shipment was free and I got it within a week ! The case it super minimalist (barely just cheap polypropylene fabric, unstuffed material, no pocket), with a correctly working zip. The instrument weights about 2.5 kg, which is quite light but comfortable for an elder lady like me. I'm very happy with my purchase !
