The Darbuka Dance Light is a compact lighting system engineered specifically for darbuka and doumbek players. Installation takes only a few seconds — simply place it inside the drum and you’re ready to play. No tools required.
Powered by four (4) AAA batteries (Not included) , the device responds instantly to your technique. You can assign a dedicated color to each stroke type:

Tec Stroke (right button control): choose your preferred color — the most recommended and visually impressive option is Mixed Blue/Red

Doom Stroke (left button control): select a different color to highlight the bass hits

The battery cover isn’t fully tightened.
If the plastic cover isn’t firmly closed with the screw, the batteries can move inside the device. Even a small movement can break the contact and cause the device to shut off.
Make sure the front handle, lower screw, and nut are tightened all the way so the batteries stay firmly in place. -
Weak or old batteries.
If the batteries are not fresh, the device may power off shortly after you start playing. Always use new, high-quality batteries for the best performance.
The buttons are attached using a strong adhesive tape on the back. Over time, the tape may slightly loosen, which can make a button feel a bit stiffer than the others. This does not affect performance — the button still works normally and operates the device and its functions 100%.
